A line on the screen of my iPod touch 4th generation 32GB Is not responding.
The exact line is the area where the lock screen music controls appear(play,pause etc).
Can someone please tell how to fix this problem.
I tried re-setting and restoring re-booting but nothing works.

If you successfully (completed all steps without errors) restored to factory settings/new iPod and still have the problem that points to a hardware problem. I would make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store. Likely a bad digitizer
How much will it cost for a replacement.
I don't have warranty on the device.
Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for $199 if youhave a 64 GB one and $99 for the others. They do not fix yours.
