The first page of my prints are all bold

I have been seeing a strange behavior in iCal that didn't used to happen in the distant past. Whenever I try to print a calendar, the first page has all of the events in bold face type. The remaining pages look correct, but for some reason the first month is bold. It is not the "current" month that is bold, since I am printing a full calendar for 2013, and January is always the one that is wrong. This has been happening for quite a while and my workaround has been to print 2 copies with different start months and then use acrobat Pro to delete and insert pages to get them to all look the same. However, it doesn't seem like this should be necessary, and as I said, I didn't have to do this a couple of years ago.

I am running iCal 4.0.4 under OS X 10.6.8 with all updates installed. Is this a known issue that has been fixed in newer versions of the OS/iCal? Have I somehow accidentally modified a setting that is causing this? Any other thoughts on what could be causing it or how to fix it?

Thanks,

Rick
