Which contacts will remain?

By performing this action, will my phone contacts be replaced with my google contacts? I have the more complete list of contacts on my phone and want to sync google contacts to pick up my phone contacts. After I have completed the sync, I would like to edit my contact list through google and have it automatically sync back up with my phone (any changes I make on google I want to be replicated on my phone and vice versa).

How can I take all the contacts I have from both, sort them into an excel sheet, and then upload them back to my phone and google both?

iPhone 4S, iOS 6.1.3

You don't need to. Edit them in Google. The changes will be sync'd.
