April 21st I updated FLASH PLAYER vserion to 11,7, 700,169 and in checking version install the I get message below WHAT IS DEBUG????

You're going to need to be more specific about exactly what you are seeing, and where. How did you update Flash Player?
You might have more success looking at the Adobe support since this is their product and not Apples.

I rec'd a pop up to update flash player - so I went to Adobe Flash PLayer site to see my version - than I loaded/installed directly from Adobe site version 11.7 etc - after installed I again went to Adobe site and checked which version I have ... screen message version indicaiton reads:
YOUR PLAYER VERSION: MAC 11,7,700,169
DEBUG PLAYER: NO (this is what I am asking about/ what does this mean? Something I have to fix?)
OPERATING SYSTEM: MAC OS 10.8.3
VIDEO CAPABLE: YES
AUDIO CAPABLE: YES
LOCAL FILE/I/O ENABLED: YES
Am I OK and SAFE with this version of Adobe Flash Player on my system?

You should be. I get the same Debug Player: No. That may have something to do with whether a Debug Player is installed.
You'll want to notice that that information is found under a label that says "Flash developers only." It's information for people writing Flash content. It's normal, and does not indicate that anything is wrong with your Mac.
