Question

MacPro running Tiger 10.4.11 reboots every time after waking from sleep mode

Whenever I wake my MacPro from sleep it now reboots as though it was shut down completely. This worked fine last week and only started happening yesterday. Any advice appreciated. Thanks.

Try a PRAM reset:

Shut down your Mac.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command (⌘), Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
Turn on the computer.
Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys before the gray screen appears.
Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
Release the keys.

Tiger 10.4.11. Never had a problem waking from sleep until yesterday.

This is a stab in the dark. Go to Apple Menu / System Preferences / Energy Saver

Suggest you look at the settings in Options. Could it be that "Restart automatically after a power failure" is checked? Either way, try changing that option.
