How do I get microsoft autoroute running in VMWare Fusion to print out of my imac?

I have VMWare Fusion on my imac, and a version of MS Autoroute open in the virtual window. How do I get an item to print from this application, I have an Epson Stylus Photo 200 printer functioning normally out of the imac?

iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.4)

You first have to set up that printer in Windows running in the virtual machine. If it is connected to the Mac by USB it should be fairly easy. If it is a Networked printer then you may have to set the virtual machine into Bridged mode for the virtual network card so it gets an IP in the same range as the rest of your LAN. If the VM is set to NAT for the virtual NIC it will get a IP in a completely different range then the rest of your LAN and you would then need to do a Static Route from the VM to the LAN IP range.

thanks for replying. I have Windows Vista running in the virtual machine, and my printer is USB connected to the imac.

on the VMware printer icon I have selected "connect to Epson", and under Windows I have gone into Control Panel, and the printer is selected as the default, and seems to suggest it is OK -- but zilch action when I select cmd/P and telll it to print.

where else are there settings I haven't found?

Have you actually installed the drivers, Epson software, for that printer in Windows and if you have does it see the printer connected to the Mac USB port during the install?

If you go into Control Panel, Printers & Fax (XP) or Devices & Printers (Win 7) (Sorry never used Vista so I have no idea what it may be called in that Win version) and right clicked on the printer and selected Printer Properties what do you get in the "Ports" Tab.
