iTunes Freezes when accessing Gracenote

I'm running Win7 x64 with iTunes 11.0.2.26 and everytime I insert a CD to import, it accesses gracenote and then freezes. Not just iTunes but the whole computer. I eject the disc and and it takes a bit but the computer does start to work and iTunes unfreezes and shows the disc info and then catches up and takes it that info away cause there's no disc in there. Then I reinsert the disc and automatically the info populates but then then it freezes again for a while and then I can import the CD, but this happens with every CD.

I've tried removing the iTunes Local and Roaming folders each separately and I still got the same results. It's unlikely that a reinstall will fix the issue. So what's up?
