Back-up my Mac Pro, 4 OSX-HDD's inside (OSX 10.8 , OSX 10.7 , OSX 10.6 & OSX 10.5)...

Hi.

How must I do, to back-up my Mac Pro, which has 4 HDD's inside (OSX 10.8 , OSX 10.7 , OSX 10.6 & OSX 10.5)...?

Or does Time machine back-up everything in 1 single action (meaning I don't have to make different partitions on my Time Machine Ext HD)...?

I need the 4 OSX's to run different programs. (not all 3rd party-devices are compatible to OSX 10.8.3)

Untill now, I partitionned my Time machine Ext HDD into 4 partitions, to make a back-ups starting from each OSX seperately... (too complicated...)

Is there a simple way to back-up everything in 1 action...?

Thanks, H.

You don't have to do anything special. There's no need for separate partitions.

Hi Linc,

thank you for the answer.

So, I will be able to set any OSX back from this TM-back-up, seperatelly...?

In this case, I will divide my HDD N°1 into 4 partitions, to install the OSX's on them & use HDD N°2 for my Photography-files , HDD N°3 for my video-files & HDD N°4 as Time Machine-disk. 😎

Best regards from Belgium, Herman.
