My iPhone wont charge or turn on

Had my phone charging in the night but when I woke up it had only half charged. When it ran out of battery I plugged it in getting the charge icon for a few seconds before it disappeared. There is now no response from the phone when I try to charge it, turn it on or connect it to my laptop. I have tried a few different chargers so I don't think that Is the problem
