flash for ipad

I often come across posts on facebook that require adobe flash player to view a video. This isn't always the case though and I don't really understand that either. Why can't ipad playback some videos and not others and will there ever be an ipad that will support adobe flash player?

This has been talked about many many times.

If you look to the right of this post there is a list named "More Like This" lots of dicussion can be found about this in the posts there.

At this point in time its safe to say, Flash will never natively be able to run on iPad. There are however alternative browsers that claim to support flash to some extent. Though its hit and miss at best in most cases.

Search for iCab, Photon, iSwifter etc... in the app store.

For Facebook, the best way to ensure you can play all the videos there, is to use the actual Facebook App, rather than the website. The App will play all embedded videos in Facebook without issue.

Adobe has not made a version of Flash for the iPad.
