Will Xcode ever support Web languages ( HTML CSS JavaScript, etc etc..)?

It would be a nice editor for that. Doesn't need to have a WYSIWYG editor. Most programmers don't need it and the production people use a browser anyways.

Just a thought. Love the SCM stuff as well, would be nice to have some feedback after you commit or udpate saying what's going on.

I am not a coder by any means but I do know that you can create html, css and most scripts using any text editor. Xcode afaik is used for compiling software.

All I want is syntax highlighting. That's all. You can build web applications in xcode sounds like a pretty reasonable request to have syntax highlighting for those languages.

It does sound like a reasonable request have you sent apple this request via their feedback page.
