Aperture crashing my computer

The gray curtin came down and the whole computer had to have a forced quit and a restart. Aperture by itself has shut down and asked if I wanted to restart it.The aperture quit isn't what I am referring to. I allowed the report for the crash to be sent to apple several times. Sorry to be such a novice, but I can find no app under Console and I can find nothing on my computer with crash reports etc. I will go over to the Apple Genius Bar tomorrow and ask them. Do you want to see the crash report? They flashed on my screen and just looked like a lot of code to me.

I was going to get a genius appointment to find the crash report for you. I have had terrible luck with the aperture "experts" at the apple store. I came on to this blog out of desperation. I appreciate your help. The geniuses i assume could pull the crash report for us to view. That is all.

Evidentially what I sent wasn't a help.

I will find out what I can. I have been told I have corrupted library records and I have rebuilt them 4 times.

The Aperture programing team has taken an interest in my case. I thank you for your help. I have had periodic crashes from Aperture where I get told "Aperture had encountered a problem and needs to close". Those are no big deal. What I have been dealing with I just learned is called "panic" where I get the gray curtain and my whole MacBook has to restart. I will try your suggestions while the guys in California try to recreate my crashed woth all the logs I just sent them. <edited by host>

Yes, and the Aperture support team in California has asked for them to see if they can recreate the crashes. I told the blog this yesterday. The store has run diagnostics on my computer. It seems the panics were all caused by Aperture.
