I keep getting an error message that reads: Not enough storage This iphone cannot be backed up because there is not enough icloud storage available. What does this mean? How do I fix it?
iPhone 4S, iOS 6.1.3
Try doing a hard reset:
Press and hold both the Home button and the Sleep/wake button simultaneously for about 15 seconds and release when the Apple logo appears.
After that: go to Settings - iCloud - Storage and backup - turn off the iCloud backup
and backup with iTunes from now on 🙂

That means your over the free 5 GB for icloud storage. You can either delete some stuff off your phone so it's under 5 GB or you can purchase more GB in icloud settings.

You can manually control what gets backed up to iCloud if you've got too much data on the phone.
Just be careful. Remember, whatever doesn't get backed up can be permanently lost.
