is there anyway i can go from 4.2.1 to ios6 ?
i need help i cant upgrade to ios6

If you iPod is old enough it can't be upgrade. What is the model number oif your iPod?

its the 3rdgen
If it is 3rd gen iPod ir should upgrade.
Plug into your computer and upgrade with iTunes.

I suspect you really have a 2G iPod. Those can only go to iOS 4.2.1.
