Iphone 4 won't turn on or charge

I put my Iphone 4 on charger when i went to bed, i wake up hours later and it is off and will not turn on or charge. Anything i could do? Please help.

iPhone 4, iOS 6.0.1

Try holding both the home and power buttons until you see the Apple logo. Should take no more than 15-20 seconds.

I would seek assistance at an Apple Store, they can determine the issue and if necessary, replace the battery or the phone.
