Open the aluminum apple remote

Question

Hi all,

my daughter got her hands on my apple tv remote and now it won't "go right" one up, down and left.

So would have to open it and clean it out. Seen pic's on an open one but can't figure out how they

got it opened!?!

Any ideas ?

Thanks, but I'm not in a panic, I can controll the ATV with my iphone/ipad, just thought i'd ask if someone knows how...

I thought i'd see what happens if i prised a small slim knifte down around the black "up, down" area. So I did, pried up softly - and it worked.

So that's how u open it! -cleaned it but still didn't work so i'll have to get a new one...
