Q: Itunes will not restore IPod

I tried to restore my IPod just now but, Itunes said "The IPod cannot be restored at the time because the IPod software update server could not be contacted or is temporarily unavialable."

My IPod screen is stuck on a picture of an arrow pointing from an usb lead to the itunes logo.

I have tried turning the computer (Windows 7) on and off again, several times.

I have unistalled Itunes and re-installed it twice.

Nothing is working!!

Please help!

Update Server
Try:
- Powering off and then back on your router.
- iTunes for Windows: iTunes cannot contact the iPhone, iPad, or iPod software update server
- Change the DNS to either Google's or Open DNS servers
Public DNS — Google Developers
OpenDNS IP Addresses
- Try on another computer/network
- Wait if it is an Apple problem
