Error Message in iBooks Author

I am trying to export an .iba file made in iBooks Author to my computer but I am getting an error message saying that I need to check for space and permission. It is not a space issue as there is plenty of storage remaining. I am wondering if there is some sort of permission setting that I am missing.

The original iba file was created by another teacher and I am editing it. Is there a feature in iBooksAuthor that prevents multiple people from exporting the original file??

How much is 'plenty', exactly....with the trash emptied, of course.

I also get this error message which does not allow me to export the file. running IBA 2.1.3 on Mac mini running 10.9.3 with 630GB available on a 1TB drive. Plenty of space so ... what is the deal?

I get this message when I try to submit: ERROR ITMS-3000: "Line 41 column 79: character content of element "file_name" invalid; must be a string matching the regular expression "[^./: ]+([.][^./: ]+)+" at XPath /package/book/assets/asset[2]/data_file/file_name"

What does this mean?

Are you trying to use File > Export to create a file in the .ibooks format? Or something else?

This issue must have been related to a corruption on one of the pages. I deleted a chapter and tried to publish again and it worked. I have not seen this again but will update this post if the issue returns.
