How to download OS X Lion with Snow Leopard?

Hi,

I have a Macbook Pro (early 2011) and reinstalled the whole OS X with the DVDs. Now I have Mac OS 10.6 Snow Leopard on it.

My intention is to download and to reinstall OS 10.7 Lion, that I bought at the day of its release.

The BIG problem I have is, that the program is not any more at the Mac App Store. How can I download it now?

You update to Snow Leopard 10.6.8.

Once you did that, you can download Mountain Lion from the Appstore (paid). The Appstore is in the Applications folder when you have 10.6.8.

Check compatibility of the Apps before you upgrade (www.roaringapps.com).

You can step to Mountain Lion without first downloading Lion.

I advise to jump over Lion and go to Mountain Lion, your MBP can handle that perfectly well.

When you absolutely want Lion, you have to call Apple and they will give you a link (paid) to download Lion (or you ask for a CD).
