Can I Replace My Earbuds With New Ones With Insurance On My iPhone ?

My earbuds that came with my iPhone 5 had started to break within months after I got my phone. I was wondering if the insurance cover the earphones too as well as my iPhone, of course. The left earbud barely works. I have to mess with the main part of the wire (the plug). Sometimes the earbuds will skip a song or pause the song when I'm listening. Often when I'm not listening to music and I will have my earphones in, watching a movie or something, a song will start to play. So for weeks I don't listen to music, thinking it'll probably go away. Well, I finally use them and they are still the same way.
