have OS X 10.7.5 and want to upgrade
Currently have OS X Lion 10.7.5. Is there another OS version available to upgrade my 2008 Mac or do I have the latest?

Open the Mac App Store and try purchasing Mountain Lion. If you're told it's incompatible with the computer, 10.7.5 is the latest for it; as the purchase won't be completed, you won't be charged for a failed attempt.
