Open Army ERB on Macbook Pro

I am in the Army and I cannot open my ERB (Enlisted Record Brief) on my mac. It says I need IE. Are there any work arounds that do not include loading windows onto boot camp?

Not sure if you found a solution yet, but I've gone as far as to try the following:

1. Firefox, refuses to allow AKO to function properly due to security issues even after adding the exceptions.

2. Chrome, file doesn't download and have tried multiple ways of saving the target file and opening the file.

3. Safari, changed the agent to IE 11 and 10 as well as Edge.

4. Safari, paid for the Thursby add in and extensions that allow easier access to DoD sites, file still won't download

5. Safari, found and used previous version of program, still no luck.

You would think with Apple being more prominent now, especially with military members they could figure out how to make it work with the most basic of Army websites.

Try this...

From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Advanced tab then click: Show Develop menu in menu bar

Visit the Army ERB website then go to your Safari menu bar again, click Develop > User Agent

Select Internet Explorer 11

If that doesn't help, try IE 10 or lower.

If that doesn't work, you may have better luck using a different web browser such as Firefox or Chrome.
