p04-imap.mail.me.com is offline

I cannot access my iCloud account from my Mac, yet it still all works with the same credentials on iCloud.com via a web browser, and via my iPhone and iPad. Has anyone got any suggestions?

MacBook Air, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)
