I keep getting notifications about Security Update 2013-001. I agree to the installation, my iMac restarts, but later I find that the installation has not happened. What should I do? Thanks for help.

You are showing 10.6.2. Is that just because you haven't updated your profile to show 10.6.8, which is necesary for that update? Try installing it from Safe Boot: Shift down at the startup chime and expect a much longer time to boot.
As I recall, I clicked 10.6.2 as the most suitable category. My Mac OS X version is actually 10.7.5. So I believe I am teed up for the security update that I can't install.
