I'm just curious about resetting and restarting ipad and will it delete it's contents... I'm a newbie to this... 🙂... responses are greatly appreciated! 🙂

No, it should not delete anything, with the possible exception of data in an app that is hung or giving you problems (and even then that is quite rare).
