does this transfer archived Outlook emails?

Hi - I just got an iMac and in the process of migrating from Windows. I was thinking of using the Migration Assistant software you install on your PC (over manually copying from a back up device one by one). I was particularly interested to know if this software would migrate Outlook emails stored in the PST files on the C drive. Or must I buy a third party app such as littlemachines.com?
