I HAVE DEFECTIVE PAIR OF EARBUDS AND NEED THEM REPLACE, ARE MY EARBUDS COVERED UNDER WARRANTY?

i dont have a apple store close by where i live can they just mail me one?
my phone is still under warranty less than a year since i have had the phone
