In iTunes 11, I have the display open to Library, and Songs.
Across the top I see I can sort by Name, Cloud, Time, Artist, Album by Artist, Genre, Rating, Plays, Last Played.
How do I get an option to sort simply by Album rather than just Album by Artist?

In songs view, click the word Album at the top of that column several times. It will cycle through "Album," "Album by Artist," and "Album by Artist/Year."

By golly, you're right! I was trying various things, including hoping for a little pull-down menu. Did not think to click and keep clicking.
You saved my iTunes. I was so disgusted I was looking for another program.
