For some reason, I cannot quit (even force quit) core audio on OSX 10.8.3 (MacBookPro retina). In my activity monitor it says it is using 116% CPU, and my fans are running hi and my hard drive is experience loss of space. I recently installed a version of Midi Guitar that may be part of the problem. I have tried reparing permissions. Disk Utility says my hard disk is corrupt, but when I restore, it says it is ok. Upon restarting, the issue appears again. Not sure what to do?
