I have a project where I have about 140 apps to install on iPads that will be used in a Rehab facility. We are currently using a MDM to push the applications. The MDM requires the display name of the App after it's installed on the iPad. Is there a way to get this information from the link to the App? Or is there another way to get this outside of actually installing the App?

Have you tried asking the MDM system supplier? Generally I would expect the display name to be exactly the same as the advertised name in the app store, unless you are doing this with your own applications.

I'm working on the project but the Telecom team is asking for this information. I can only guess on the reasons why he needs this information at this point. I do know he asked for it and deemed it "necessary." Hence the question to the boards. My PoC in Telecom is administering the MDM.
If the info is not forthcoming from the MDM supplier (perhaps if you found out which MDM was being used, you could look up it's requirements), then I'd ask the PoC to define more carefully what he requires. Guessing rarely wins!
The requeset seems a bit obscure; I doubt I would find information on it from the MDM website. Out local MDM Admin identified that he needs the display name of the app after it's installed.
I'm asking the question here because I know that guessing wouldn't help the situation.
