I have the EE symbol next to my signal, but I have no signal bars, WHY???

My iPhone was working until a couple of hours ago when I tried to make a call and I lost signal. Ever since ive never got it back although I have signal on my other phone if I put the same SIM card in. Why is this? What should I do?

iPhone 4S, iOS 6.1.3

Try Airplane Mode On for 30 secs and then Off

Try Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings

Try a Reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider if, it comes up. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.
