How to instal new screensavers?

I have downloaded a few screen savers to use instead of the ones provided by Apple in Mountain Lion. They came as installers, and when double-clicked, the resulting files went into a folder called, unsurprisingly, 'Screen Savers' within my user's Library. But they do not appear under the Screen Saver tab in System Preferences.

Conversely, I have been unable to find where Apple's own screen savers are stored. They seem to be invisible: neither Finder nor EasyFind can locate them. I should be grateful if someone could tell me where the custom screen savers I have downloaded should be put so that they can be made active.

ML moved the screenSavers to /System/Library/Frameworks/ScreenSaver.framework/Versions/A/Resources/
