ATIccelerator II and overclocking a graphics card...
Not sure if this sort of thing is allowed in the forums, but I'll pose the question:
Given that I fully understand all the complications that could become of this (frying your motherboard, your graphics card, turning your computer into a paperweight, etc), I have stumbled upon the program ATIccelerator II. I currently find myself with an ATI Mobility Radeon 9700 in my PowerBook G4 1.33 GHZ. The card only has 64 MB of VRAM, so its obvious that I could use a little boost in performance. I know that this line of PowerBooks run hot anyway, so I am cautious, but nonetheless optimistic, in using this overclocking application. I suppose my question is (with a "no BS/ I won't hold you responsible answer"): just how much can I speed up my graphics card for a significant performance boost while still playing it safe?
