Q: Using one iPad Mini in two countries' app stores - how?

I spend an equal amount of time in England and in America. I want to be able to use my one iPad both places and buy from the local App Store. How do I do that? I have tried changing stores but when I want to download apps, even free ones, I get told that I have to switch back to the US one and then I can't get the app......

To change countries you have to have an account linked to a credit card that is from the country and has a physical billing address in the country.

The app store is intended for a single country of residence. You should pick which one you wish to patronize most and stick with that one.

I do have credit cards with billing addresses in both countries so maybe I could then?

Go to http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2001 and note setting up an account in a particular store.

Switch to the country you want the second account in and create an account in that country. Then switch between countries and you should be linked to the appropriate account.
