Try this: Rebooting your iDevice Hold down the Sleep (On-Off) and Home buttons totether for about 10-15 seconds or until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears - then let go of the buttons. The iPad should begin to start up. If this doesn't help then try restoring it: Locked Out, Forgot Lock or Restrictions Passcode, or Need to Restore Your Device 1. iTunes 10 for Mac- Update and restore software on iPod, iPhone, or iPad 2. iOS- Forgotten passcode or device disabled after entering wrong passcode3. iPhone, iPad, iPod touch: Wrong passcode results in red disabled screen 4. iOS- Understanding passcodes 5.
