Stopped boot camp partition 1/3 wat through

I was partitioning my windows 7 disk and stopped the partition 1/3 of the way through the loading bar and now I lost space on my hard drive and when I try the partition again it has an error, how do I remove the partial partition and get this to work?

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.3)

I actually found a way to do it easier, for people who have done the same thing, if you restart your computer and when it turns on hold the alt option key and you can choose to open it in the recovery harddrive, open disk utility and repair your harddrive, it recognized that my storage was out of whack and it repaired it, gave me the space back and I was then able to partition again. Using disk utility while in your normal OS X won't recognize the problem and repair it for some reason, but in recovery it works.
