1 Step Method to install Windows 8 on an older Mac

I just discoverd this method to install Windows 8 on older macs when I was trying to enable creating a bootable USB version of Windows.

So basically, you just right click Bootcamp and click "Show Package Content", then you rename info.plist to info_old.plist and open it, then change the following two codes and save it as "info.plist", you must specify the .plist extension.

All you are going to do is replace the mac model to the oldest version for the corresponding mac. For example, I have a Macbook Pro5,5 and I changed the MacbookPro part of the code to 5,1 (oldest Macbook possible, 2008).

Each code specifies the oldest model that qualifies for creating bootable USB and Windows 8, so what you are doing is changing the code so that it allows even older models to do these two things.

To enable creation of USB bootable Windows change:
