I recently updated the software on my iPhone 4S and the Wi-Fi button is grey, and I can't select it or turn it on. The phone is showing me my Wi-Fi address, so resetting my network settings don't help anything. I've tried everything. Please help

I have reset my device multiple times using both itunes and the phone. I've set it up as a "new device" and everything. Now the wifi will turn on, but it doesn't connect for long after that.
Sounds like it is time to take a trip to the Apple Store for evaluation....
