will dual booting my macbook pro slow down its performance when using os x?

i'm planning on dual booting my macbook pro 13 inch i5 variant (running OS X mountain lion / 10.8.3 )with windows 7 or windows 8. will doing this slow down the performance of my system when its booted in OS X? i mean will i still get the 7 seconds boot and the fast performances as it has right now?

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.3)

If your OS X volume has got enough free space, you shouldn't notice a performance difference after installing Windows through Boot Camp. Often there are performance problems with OS X after installing Windows because the OS X volume has got little space, so just make sure you assign to Windows the amount of space you think you will need.

Apart from that, if you plan installing Windows 8, first check that your computer is compatible > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5634?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US
