If you did not make a bootable disc, what are you trying to install Windows from?
i have the superdrive so i thought it will boot from this drive
And it should, describe what is happening please.
after the partition stage i got a black screen. i wait 10 minutes and nothing happened.
so i restart it and i'm getting a massage that i have to connect a bootable disk.
Place the Windows disc in the drive, go to System Preferences>Start Up Disk and verify that the Windows DVD is shown as a bootable disc.
Do you have anything connected to the USB ports, if yes, what?
but the computer doesn't work.
it stops with: "no bootable device - insert boot disk and press any key"
nothing else is connect to the USB ports
I take it that you did not read the Boot Camp directions before you started this, correct?
Did you make a backup or not?
i read but i thought it will be similar to pc.
no backup because its a new one. i got it yesterday
Remove the DVD. Reboot, when you hear the startup sound (chime) press and hold the option key, release the key when the startup manager appears and then select OSX.
this is what i didn't know how to do.
now it seems to be ok.
i think the problem is because i didn't connect the superdrive to the computer before the proccess
thank you for now
You're welcome, and please read the directions, the start procedure you just used is in them ....
