i am in a complicated situation

my school gave us ipad minis to use. I did my video project on my ipad, but now i cant upload it because the file is too big. They put up typical school security blocking alot of sites, and the only video conversion app wont work without a clear connection. they also set it up so that i cant sync anything to my computer. I cant redo the project, i cant email it, and i dont want to buy an app just for it to be unusable immediately after. are there any sites that will work for an ipad to convert it to a smaller file, while getting past a school firewall, preferably free?

iPad, iOS 6.1.3, ipad mini

Getting the past the school firewall? Probably not. sounds like you need to have a conversation with the network admin.

They set it up in supervisor mode which prevents you from syncing with a computer. It an Apple restriction which a lot of people have run into. Administrators are almost "forced" to set up in supervisor mode to get a discount on software.

You have these options:

1) You can copy the file off if you can find the computer with put the ipad into supervor mode. The computer which the administrator used Apple Configurator on. Be sure the computer is set not to sync with your ipad.

2) Establish a dropbox account. Upload through net.

3) Can you get internet at a friends house or parents office?

4) Get a video camera and record off the display. Might not be too bad. Folks do it all the time. I'd do this to have a backup at least.
