I've used iTunes to download an episode I missed. It's saying that I've purchased it but will only let me watch 30 seconds mid way through? What am I doing wrong?

Is it still in the iTunes Store under Downloads?
It's in my purchased section. This is the first time I've ever downloaded something so I'm pretty sure I've done something wrong I just can't figure it out!
After you use the iTunes (store) app to purchase a movie or TV episode, you use the Videos app to play it, just as you use the Music app to play music you purchased.
You don't watch videos in iTunes.
iTunes on iOS devices is a link to the store to purchase media only.
Video downloaded to the iPad are in the video app.
Why cant I watch the episode I've purchased?
