Q: If I establish an icloud alias now, April 26, 2013, will I lose my @mac.com alias. I am not quite sure I understand this. Also, is there an equivalent to what used to be called a "Public file"
Takes me a while to get up to speed. I'd like to have an icloud address but don't want to lose my existing @mac.com email address.
It looks like, if I'm reading things corrrectly that I'm too late in doing this to expect to keep both. ??
Further, is there an equivalent to what used to be called a "Public File"? If so where is it and how do I get there from here?

You can continue to use your @mac.com address as if nothing changed: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2623

Sadly, no.
