Q: How do I download an app only available in a different country itunes

Sorry, do you mean go to Itunes UK store website? I still need a apple ID located in UK to download anything, even if it is free. In order to create a UK ID I need an address there, and then I would guess that it would still not let me download and use the app on my iphone registered to my NZ apple ID.

Exactly. Not much good to me. I know that you can get vouchers for itunes USA and download apps whilst located in other countries.

I can understand if apple want to restrict dowloading of purchased apps to geographical regions for commercial purposes but I don't get it for free apps.
