Why my ipad cant connect to itunes/app store.

i cant connect my ipad to itunes/app store. And whenever i try to connect to it, it only says this: "the certificate for this server is invalid, you might be connecting to a server that is pretending to be "itunes.apple.com" which could put your confidential information at risk"


I've read other threads about it and tried all the suggestions to troubleshoot it but all didnt work. THERES NO PROBLEM WITH MY ACCOUNT OR EVEN MY WIFI CONNECTION because i can use my iphone with the same itunes account on it and theres no problem.


Is it already advisable to format my ipad? Please help.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.


This works for some users. Not sure why.

Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.
