I have an iPod touch 5g. When I put a case on it and plug it in to a wall charger to changer the screen gets weird and wont respond that good. When I take the case off the screen works fine. Can some one please help me?

It would seem that the case is causing the problem. Is the Lightning fully inserted in the iPod when the case is on the iPod?

It's a flex gel. This is my second case. The first one was hard plastic case and the second one is soft. It did the same thing when I had the first case on. Yes the lighting pin is in all the way. Is it bad for the ipod when it does that or will it be fine?
make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.
