I installed an AU workstation for logic, and i put the component in the components folder, but no matter what I will do, it does not show up in logic for audio units.. ive been trying for 3 days so please help

When you open the au manager does it show up on the list? Au manager is in the logic preferences menu.

sure the au is in the folder and not than vst? Other than that I'd reach out to the manufacturer. Their web site has no info.

Is it an instrument or an insert effect? My guess is you've been trying to find it amongst the insert effects, where it actually is an instrument, which can only be loaded in the Instrument Slot.

OK, my hunch is that you need to run Logic in 32 bits mode first, let it validate the plugin, then quit and return to 64 bit mode. All 32 bit (-bridge) compatible plugins need to be scanned in 32 bit mode first before they're 'seen'

by 64 bit mode-Logic.

Hmmm... pretty obviously this is an instrument (a ROMpler, to be precise), and NOT an insert effect.

It's an instrument, so as Erik has said... look under the instrument slot and you will find it there...

Insert slots are for FX plugins..

Software Instrument Slot is for Software Instruments...
