Okay now is there any possible fix? I just turned it on and it the display came up just fine. But then I tried to boot it off of my powerbook from firewire and no show.I don't have it screwed down because I have been swapping cards but should I try that or are there any other suggestions?
You mean with the PB in Target Mode?
What OS version is on the PB?
Leopard. Yes with Target disk mode, I have it boot up from my PB before, I know it is that AGP slot. Are there any possible fixes?
Is the power light on steady? Any noise, fans, or such?
All systems are fine, power light is steady fans steady, boots with the chime, bong (good sound).
Can you put the G5 in Target Mode & look for system log?
... or maybe it'd be on the PB's drive after that attempt! 🙂
