How do I turn off data detectors?

Before Mountain Lion, I was able to disable the data detectors in Mail. Mountain Lion broght them back and no one seems to know how to turn them off. I find them to be extremely annoying especially when I want to copy text in an email. Someone at Apple MUST know how to disable them. PLEASE!
