airplay will simply stop working after one and 1/2 songs, itunes is still playing the song but it simply stops on one computer others continue to work

Antone have any ideas about this situation. I am using airplay on an older Macbook Pro. I have mountain Lion and Itunes 11.0.2 yet at about 8 minutes into play it simply quits. The music is still playing on my macbook pro but not coming out of my speakers I have my newer Macbook Pros and my Iphones working with no problem. Any suggestions or wisdom about what the problem might be or how to fix it.
